25 years... we really have come a long way since Hesham started Computer Assistance Team, or as we like to call it CAT, for the simple purpose of assembling students who were interested in the field of computer science. CAT at the time was a haven for members to study & explore together the uncharted waters & work on projects that help technology advance. Unknowingly however, they came across an obstacle, most of the members at the time were seniors in their final years, & when they graduated, there was no one to carry the team for another year. Therefore it was on hiatus. Forward into 2005, where a young lad by the name Ahmed Soliman, a production engineer at facebook, London, along with a group of his colleagues sought to reignite the torch that CAT once burned and recreate the CS haven under a renaming. CAT Reloaded was the fruit of their dreams. Learning from their previous fall, year after year, they encourage freshmen and any other students to join the team through booths & ever growing events.
